What you are looking at

Starbase Live is a 24/7 stream from NASASpaceflight (NSF), an independent spaceflight news outlet, covering SpaceX's Starbase facility at Boca Chica in Cameron County, on the far southern tip of Texas near the Mexican border. This is where SpaceX builds, tests and launches Starship, its fully reusable rocket made up of the Super Heavy booster and the Starship upper stage.

The cameras look across the launch site, the tall launch tower and the production buildings. On ordinary days you may see huge vehicle sections being rolled down the road, cranes stacking the rocket, and cryogenic tests with clouds of vapor venting from the tanks. On bigger days there are static fires and full test flights, when the camera shows the booster lifting off from the coast, and in some flights the tower arms catching a returning booster.

The feed plays as live video on YouTube, often with views switching between several cameras. A practical tip: road closures and test notices are usually announced in advance, so check NSF's coverage or SpaceX's updates to know which day is worth watching.
