What you are looking at

See Jackson Hole, a local webcam channel also known as SeeJH, streams this pan-tilt-zoom camera over Jackson Town Square in Jackson, Wyoming. The square is known for its four arches made of elk antlers, shed naturally by elk that spend the winter on the National Elk Refuge just outside town, and it is surrounded by wooden boardwalks, Western shops, galleries and restaurants.

In summer the square is busy with visitors on their way to Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks, and you may see stagecoach rides and crowds on the boardwalks. Autumn brings golden cottonwoods. In winter the antler arches are strung with lights and snow covers the park, and the town fills with skiers heading to the nearby slopes. Because the camera moves, the view may sweep around the square and the surrounding streets.

The feed plays as live video on YouTube. Jackson is on Mountain time. A practical tip: watch after dark in December and January, when the holiday lights on the antler arches give the square its best-known winter look.
