This FGC webcam at La Molina sits at the intermediate station of the Cadí-Moixeró gondola, high above the resort, and looks out over the valleys below. On many days the frame shows a sea of clouds filling the low ground, with mountain ridges rising beyond, likely the Serra del Cadí across the Cerdanya, and a lift pole and grassy slope in the foreground.
The Cadí-Moixeró gondola is La Molina's signature lift, climbing from the Cap de Comella base to La Tosa d'Alp, about 2,537 m, where the Niu de l'Àliga refuge sits. Its intermediate station, the old top station, lets the gondola run in sections. The gondola shares its name with the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, whose limestone ridges face the resort across the valley.
A fresh frame appears here about every ten minutes. Temperature inversions in fall and winter often create seas of clouds in the valleys, making this one of the most dramatic views at La Molina.
