What you are looking at
This FGC pan-tilt webcam at La Molina looks over the Torrent Negre sector, at about 2,040 m. The frame shows a chairlift line climbing a broad slope, its lower station in the bottom right, scattered pines, red safety netting and snow cannons along the runs, and open mountain ridges on the skyline.
Torrent Negre is one of La Molina's upper sectors, with wide, open slopes and scattered pines high on the mountain. The resort sits near Alp, in the Cerdanya, and shares a ski area with neighboring Masella. In summer the open slopes are used for hiking and mountain biking, with views across the valley to the Cadí range.
New images arrive about every ten minutes. In winter, it shows snow cover and lift activity in the sector; on clear days, the snow can glow in the low evening light. Wind and storms can quickly bring fog and blowing snow. Tip: as a pan-tilt camera, the view can change, so compare a few images if you are checking a specific run.
